FINANCIAL SERVICES

The Financial Services Committee will cover policy developments in all areas of finance on both sides of the Channel, including EU and UK stakeholders. It will focus on UK/EU financial sector cooperation and regulation. Serving as a platform for debate and collaboration, it will provide input on legislative actions and bilateral forums, and is  a first point of call for UK official and business delegation visits to discuss policy, trade and investment. 

Policy focus areas are decided by the committee and include:

• Sustainability & responsible finance
• Consumer finance & retail strategy
• Digitalisation, crypto regulation & anti-money laundering (AML)
• Investment & capital markets. 

Members of this committee are provided with a regular forum to actively engage in discussions, events and advocacy in both the UK and the EU by inviting key stakeholders, policymakers and business leaders join talks and build relationships.
