CHEMICALS WORKING GROUP
EU and UK are updating chemicals regulations (REACH and UK REACH). The Chemicals Working Group hosts monthly meetings to help businesses understand and adapt to these changes, fostering information exchange and discussions on regulatory differences.
DEFENCE & SECURITY COMMITTEE
This Committee provides a forum to actively engage in meetings, events and discussions in order to gain access to valuable information, collaborate with peers and stay up to date about trade-related matters. This helps members stay competitive, expand their networks, and advocate for industry needs.
DIGITAL COMMITTEE
The Digital Committee actively participates in digital policymaking discussions worldwide, helping businesses navigate the evolving digital landscape. They engage in panel debates on topics like AI, FinTech, and Blockchain, fostering collaboration and advocating for sustainable policies to drive positive change.
EU-UK RELATIONS COMMITTEE
The committee facilitates discussions involving experts from the UK government, EU institutions, and affected businesses. It serves as a platform for businesses and stakeholders to express concerns about specific sectors and overall agreements, fostering a more productive EU-UK relationship.
FINANCIAL SERVICES COMMITTEE
The committee serves as a platform for discussions on UK/EU financial sector cooperation and regulation. It collaborates with other industry bodies to provide input on legislative actions and welcomes UK delegations for policy, trade, and investment discussions in Belgium/EU.
HEALTHCARE COMMITTEE
The Healthcare Committee shapes healthcare policies, representing member interests and promoting equity in healthcare access. It acts as a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, aiding businesses in navigating the healthcare landscape and driving positive change.
INTERNAL MARKET COMMITTEE
The Internal Market Committee focuses on pan-European regulatory issues affecting EU, UK, and global businesses. It facilitates knowledge exchange, collaboration, and advocacy across various sectors to navigate market complexities and drive positive change.
SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE
The Sustainability Committee promotes sustainability in policy and business by facilitating collaboration, knowledge exchange, and advocacy, with a focus on Taxonomy, Sustainable Finance, ESG, and the Circular Economy.
TRADE POLICY COMMITTEE
The Trade Policy Committee tracks and analyses trade policies in the EU, UK, and beyond, affecting its represented business community. It collaborates with EU institutions, the UK government, BCC Trade, and organises events to inform and engage members.
