TRADE POLICY COMMITTEE

The Trade Policy Committee is engaged on all aspects of trade, including Free Trade Agreements, customs procedures, rules of origin, SPS and discussions in international organisations, for example in the WTO and the WCO.

The Trade Policy Committee is monitoring, analysing, and discussing developments affecting EU/UK, UK/rest of world and EU/rest of world trade providing insights on issues such as the EU Customs Code reform, the UK accession to the CPTPP, European Commission’s proposal on anti-coercion, the UK’s bilateral FTAs, WTO Ministerial meetings, and the EU agenda for FTAs.
